Before booking your Meet and Greet, we ask that you watch this video and review our NP bios. This video will answer the FAQs about our clinic as well as introduce you to our NPs.

Safa Omar graduated in 2014 with a Master of Science in Nursing and a Graduate Diploma in Primary HealthCare for Nurse Practitioners from the University of Ottawa. She has a strong background in primary care and women’s health. Fully bilingual in French and English, Safa is able to connect with and care for a diverse range of patients. She has a solid foundation in both acute and chronic care, and is dedicated to providing comprehensive and compassionate care to her patients. Her approach emphasizes active listening and the use of motivational interviewing techniques to empower patients in their healthcare journey. She has a deep passion for whole-body wellness and preventative care.
Kulpreet Sandhu graduated from University of Alberta in 2018 with her Masters in Nursing with a special interest in geriatrics. Her aim is to provide patient-oriented care, focusing on specific measures to prevent disease. She looks at each individual as unique and whole to provide the best possible care. Her interest also focuses on the management of chronic conditions such as diabetes and hypertension. She values honesty, integrity, inclusiveness and compassion. She is clear and transparent with her patients and includes them in their care.


Sam Dunbar has her Master of Nursing in Nurse Practitioner Family All Ages from the University of Alberta. She started her nursing career as a diabetes educator and has continued with that focus as an NP. She connects with patients easily and with a good dose of humour, all while finding ways to make meaningful changes towards improving their health. Chronic pain, especially understanding the nature of pain and supporting self-management, is an area she is passionate about. Her mission as a nurse practitioner is to help clients help themselves though thoughtful, practical and supportive practice. All are welcome in her practice, especially LGBTQIA2S+.
Shamra Cuffy has her Master of Nursing in Primary Health Care Nurse Practitioner from the University of Saskatchewan. Her mission is to provide compassionate, comprehensive, and evidence-based care to clients of all ages, empowering them to lead healthier lives and make informed health decisions. She is passionate about metabolic disorders such as diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure and more. Shamra’s practice is rooted in the core nursing values of compassion, integrity, excellence, respect, and advocacy. She volunteers at local community events and enjoys the opportunity to give back and build connections.


Karen Andres has her Master of Nursing in Advanced Practice Family All Ages from Athabasca University. Karen has thirty years of experience in acute and critical care and emergency services. She also practices elsewhere as a Registered Provisional Psychologist, giving her a unique perspective on the interrelatedness of mind and body and this informs her holistic approach to health and wellness. Karen’s practice focuses on veterans and RCMP; assisting with their Veterans Affairs claims as well as their primary care. She works collaboratively with River Stone Wellness Centre to further assist Veterans and RCMP on their path to wellness. Beyond Veterans and RCMP, her approach to primary care is to work with each patient to achieve their health and wellness goals.
