Edmonton’s dedicated nurse practitioner clinic offering the best in patient care.
What is a Nurse Practitioner?
Nurse Practitioners (NPs) are registered nurses (RNs) who have continued their education to gain a Masters degree or PhD. Their knowledge, skill and certification allows them to assess, diagnose, treat, order diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, make referrals to specialists and manage overall care, making them an invaluable resource in primary care.

Our Primary Care Model
Our goal is to link unattached patients (people without a family doctor) to primary care providers. The nurse practitioners at River Stone can offer you and your family dedicated care and trusted support. We are accepting new patients from Edmonton and surrounding rural areas.
Meet and Match
We offer a Meet and Match for anyone interested in a membership. The purpose of the Meet and Match is for you to get to know our facility and our team; and for us to assess your needs and match you with an appropriate Nurse Practitioner. We believe in getting the right fit for you in order to best meet your health care needs.
